The data is probably the most valuable part of the computer. We offer complete data recovery and copy services, from Hard drives with no problems to completely dead and damaged drives. Please bring your item to us. There is no charge if there is no recovery.
Data Recovery
- Level 0—no damage to drive or Windows. Customer just needs to transfer data from full drive to new drive, or from old PC to new PC.
- Level 1—accidentally deleted data or formatted drive, Windows reloaded on top of old Windows accidentally, Windows corruption (but data intact). We can extract data at the store from HD to new HD or other media.
- Level 2—Hard drive is damaged, but HD does spin and HD heads move correctly. We can extract data at the store and move to new HD.
- Level 3—Hard drive severely damaged—HD does NOT spin and heads do not move correctly (gives clicking sound) or do not move at all. We must send out for extraction (typically 5 working days.)
Data Recovery (flash drive, camera or other device)
- We can sometimes recover from failed flash, memory card or other camera drive.
- We can also recover data from CDs or DVDs that are scratched.
